Hautefort Castle: Hautefort castle is one of the most prestigious castles in the south-west of France and is classified as an historic Monument.You will be enchanted whilst strolling through the beautifully maintained English style park and French gardens. It was built on an old Roman camp and in 1588 the fort was modified. Between 1630 and 1670 the castle’s appearence was altered thanks to the architect Nicolas Rambourg for the Marquis of Hautefort.
